In a showcase of industry leadership and commitment to regional collaboration, G Kibria & Co. recently concluded its GMNI Asia Pacific Conference 2023. This is the first time the firm has hosted the Asia Pacific Conference. The Conference was part of a wider celebration, marking the firm’s 50 years of excellence in the accounting field. The event brought together GMNI members of the Asia Pacific Region and local distinguished experts and business leaders in the field of organizational development and artificial Intelligence.
The three-day conference was held at The Amari Hotel in Dhaka between May 5th to May 7th. The conference was attended by members from UAE, India, Pakistan, Australia, and Singapore. The Conference kicked off on the 5th of May 2023 with members enjoying the culture, history, and heritage of Old Dhaka. The speaking sessions and networking events were held on May 6th and May 7th at the hotel. Mr. Khondkar Atique E Rabbani, former president of Institute of Internal Auditors of Bangladesh, held a session on the impact of Blockchain on the Auditing profession and Mr. S M Zillur Rahman, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, CORNERSTONE Strategies, held a knowledge session on Organizational Transformation for Building HPEs: Effective Strategy for Talent Management.
The conference served as a dynamic platform for the exchange of cutting-edge ideas, groundbreaking research, and industry best practices. The carefully curated sessions sparked meaningful discussions, fostering a collaborative spirit that transcended borders and disciplines.
Members of the conference were also able to attend the firm’s 40-year celebration at the Le Meridian Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 06th May 2023.
